Accommodations
The Hemlock House is a three bedroom home nestled in a small grove of hemlocks. The house consists of three bedrooms, two and a half baths, a living room with two sitting areas, a large eat-in kitchen, and a sunroom.
This is a family home, and is furnished as such. The kitchen is well equipped with wonderful pots and pans, fine utensils and knives, and everything you would want at your disposal to create a delectable meal. The bedrooms are furnished with down comforters and fine bed linens. Big fluffy bath towels are a welcome treat after a long hot soak in the Jacuzzi. The rooms at the Hemlock House are described in more detail below.
The View
The views from the Hemlock House are spectacular. Smugglers' Notch ski trails are in clear view from the house and so is the occasional rainbow.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner electric range, stainless steel refrigerator, and stainless steel dishwasher. There is a beautiful island in the middle with extra work surfaces and a bamboo cutting block. The kitchen also has a breakfast area to enjoy your morning coffee and newspaper as well as a wired internet port if you would like to plug in your laptop.
The Living Room
The living room is an excellent location for peace and relaxation. You have your choice of sitting in the cozy leather by the fireplace or at the sofa with surrounding rockers for appetizers at the coffee table. This space can also be used for large family meals and entertainment.
The Sun Room
The Sun Room is a wonderful spot for relaxing with a good book. Sip a cup of tea, drink a glass of wine, or just watch nature go by. Truly a comfy spot for an afternoon at home.
Bedroom #1 - The Master Bedroom
The master bedroom suite has a spectacular view of the mountains. Heck, you can almost spot your family on the slopes. Plenty of room to exercise, perhaps add a crib for the little one, or just enjoy the space. The adjoining bath has a large Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and double sinks…pretty nice spot after a day of activity.
Bedroom #2 - The Second Bedroom
The guest bedroom is quaint and decorated with antiques. It has a double bed and some nice closet space. This room faces the forest so enjoy the views of nature, perhaps a deer or two, or even a Moose.
The Media Room
Ahh...the media room. This room is for relaxation and dvd/video watching. It also can be used as a third bedroom for extra sleeping space or as a work space if you simply can't leave the office behind.
